Marathons in SK

Hi guys,

I am an amateur(do not have any licence) mountain biker from Ukraine and interested in participating in the Marathons of 2006 year in SK.

Where can I see calendar of these events? And what normally I need to participate in the Marathon races?

Hi fasser,
the 2006 Marathon calendar is not available at this time.If you want to participate in SVK marathon races, you only need to pay registration fee (every marathon has its own price).

You should check those pages below a bit later:

http://the.mtbiker.sk/index.php?modul=kalendare -ther you can find XC,Marathon or DH races.

,sme to pisali asi naraz, ja som na to natrafil az po tebe a nevsimol som si tvoj odkaz.dal som len odpovedat a prepol som na ine okno tak preto ...

I'm asking so early because I need some time to get visa, and want to plan and take some friends with me

Now the main problem is to choose the most interesting marathons with nice mountain route, nice organization and a lot of participants

Sorry, some Slovak biker deleted his message to you.I was reacting at it.

Lot of bikers said that the hardest marathon is Dubnicky maraton. He is also most famous in Slovakia and also has a nice mountain route.I think you should try it with your friends.

There are reviews of marathons and XC races on MTBiker site, but I'm worrying that you won't understand a lot.

gengar: yes, I can see in the results sheet that Dubnicky marathon is the hardest and most popular one...Sounds nice

. He is not in the calendar yet, but I guess the date could be the end of May

cervo: In case we come in Slovakia, we will stay only on weekend, a couple of days, just to participate in some event...But who knows...

Thanks in advance, now it is too early to plan, but I will keep you aware of our plans
