Hot day on the bike today with Emily and Silvia. Thanks to good fueling, hydration and a few buffet stops, we managed it all just fine. Luckily it was quite windy, which helped with the heat. Halfway through the ride I got a ‘bee botox’ in my finger - it hurt a lot, and thanks to Silvia for pulling out the stinger. At Café Dunaj I cooled the finger with ice, which helped a lot so I could keep going. Then we took the ferry and continued toward Danubiana and along the Petržalka dam. We said goodbye near Weranda, and I rode home in the golden light of the setting sun, past the airport and through Jurava. Thank you for the beautiful time. 🙏😊
