Exceptional ride for an exceptional sight. I joined the Rege Štvrtky group to watch the solar eclipse from Braunsberg. I didn’t expect such a crowd - cars climbing all the way up until everything got jammed. Even though it wasn’t total, the eclipse brought a unique light, a celestial show prepared just for us before the sun and moon slipped behind the curtain of the horizon. The descent was unlike anything I’ve experienced - the road packed with cars, people, motorbikes, and us cyclists weaving through on foot. Probably a once‑in‑a‑lifetime moment. After spending over an hour on the hill, there was no after‑ride, so we said goodbye at Tyršák. I rode with Dominik Turčan to Vrakuňa and then continued home through Jurava. Happily exhausted and grateful. 🙏😇
