Juraj Holík and I took advantage of a sunny, dry day before the freeze sets in, heading out on a longer ride along our favorite route with a stop at the Zurndorf bakery. The headwind before the break was tough, but the reward - great sweet pastries and hot tea - was worth it. We left while it was still light and enjoyed stunning post-sunset colors. From Berg, a slow puncture on Juraj’s rear wheel caused some trouble, but after two inflations and a gas station stop in Bratislava, we managed to finish the planned 100 km. The last 20 km were tough in -3°C - the breaks made it harder to stay warm, and I really felt the chill. Still, I’m proud I pushed through. Beautiful ride, even with a tough ending. 🤗🙏
