Today was a beautiful sunny day spent on the bike and with friends. There was a group ride to Lake Neusiedl organized by the Gruppetto Bratislava cycling club that I joined. I planned to ride there with the group and then return with my pal Miki, with a small detour through Hainburg. The pace was very fast for me, so I had high heart rate and it took a lot of energy to stay in the peloton. But luckily I still had enough to make it home - with a few breaks - even though I arrived in the dark. It was a good ride and I’m happy I pushed my distance record a bit further.
